Why did you choose OBGYN?
I chose OBGYN for many reasons as this path will allow me to advocate for health equity, serve patients with gynecologic cancers, provide comprehensive sexual education to adolescents, and ensure that the health care system respects and protects bodily autonomy.
Why do OBGYN at UCSF Fresno?
I am excited to move back home to California. After having lived in New Orleans, Philadelphia, and Chicago, I am grateful for the people whose kindness helped me to become a more thoughtful and compassionate version of myself, and I am humbled by this new opportunity to serve the people in the San Joaquin Valley.
I have enjoyed hiking through the Himalayas, horseback riding through the mountains above Santa Fe, attending a Taylor Swift concert with my mother, making rainbow cakes with my “Little Sister” for Pride month, and building the longest road in Settlers of Catan.
Facts: Prior to medical school, I was a Registered Nurse on a Thoracic & Cardiovascular Surgery Unit, where I first learned how to advocate for patients.
