Hobbies, fun facts and interests
I enjoy being in the mountains, traveling, playing board games, and hanging out with my family and friends. One of my fondest memories with my husband is backpacking to alpine lakes in Tuolumne Meadows. I look forward to introducing my son to the Sierra Nevadas and creating new memories with my family.
Professional Interests: Professionally, I am interested in developing health policy to address structural inequities in healthcare delivery.
Why Fresno?
I lived in Fresno prior to starting medical school and loved the people, the community, and proximity to the Sierra Nevadas. I was excited at the prospect of returning and serving patients in the Central Valley, one of the most medically underserved regions in the state. Plus, the training is outstanding, our program director genuinely cares about her residents, and everyone is so friendly. I am thrilled to join the UCSF-Fresno EM family!
