Hobbies, facts and interests
As a former flautist and DJ I’ve always been a huge fan of music. I like going out to explore the live music scene in Fresno whenever I get a chance. I also enjoy cooking with my co-residents and pestering people to join my team for trivia nights.
This program offers education from fantastic attending physicians and specialists in a setting where we are able to offer advanced therapies and interventions not readily available in most cities. After rotating through other programs in the Central Valley where we would often transfer our severely ill patients to Community Regional Medical Center in Fresno, I knew I wanted to work at the place where I could follow through completely on my patients’ care.
Fresno somehow manages to be the fifth largest city in California but still feels like a small close-knit community. It has great restaurants, food trucks, and farmer’s markets all showcasing the local agriculture. It has fosters a diverse music scene, ranging from small independent bands performing at the local breweries or Gazebo Gardens, bigger names taking the stage at Save Mart center, and even its own music festival called Grizzly Fest. I’m fortunate to be able to experience so many different cultures, backgrounds, and identities every day I’m here whether that be through my patients, the staff I work with, or through the friends I’ve made while living here.
