Hobbies, facts and interests

I’m a huge football fan, and I root for the Chargers, Trojans, and Aztecs. I love to hang out and travel with S.O., play basketball, weight lift, play video games, watching stand-up comedy, and love trying new restaurants. My interests in Emergency Medicine include tactical emergency medicine and expanding the role of the physician in the pre-hospital setting during MCIs and natural disasters, sports medicine, and pediatric emergency medicine.

Fun-Fact: I was able to hit the 1000 pound club (where your bench press + deadlift+ squat one rep maxes sum together to be more than a 1000 pounds) as a 4th year medical student.

Why Fresno?

Fresno serves the very medically underserved community of Central California. We get the opportunity to take care of very sick, and very at risk patients, who are extremely grateful for the care they receive. Our teachers in the ED are excellent and never hesitate to provide amazing teaching opportunities both on the fly and in didactics. The Parkmedic program also allows for a unique opportunity to expand education in wilderness medicine and an enhanced understanding of the EMS system that is very unique to our program. The residents here are all very sweet and welcoming and everyone seems really happy. Also, the Tri-Tip in Fresno is pretty amazing!
