Hobbies, facts and interests
I enjoy spending my free time with my family and pets, following sports (Lakers/Clippers/Rams/Tennis), and playing them terribly when I can, playing video games and exercising. My favorite activity is being a Foodie and I will gladly accept any food recommendations! You may frequently see me listening to too much KPop with a boba in hand, and I consider myself a Matcha Addict.
I came to Fresno because I am interested in working with underserved populations and this county is also home to a very diverse cultural and ethnic group. You also can’t beat the farm fresh fruit, veggies and national parks that are easily accessible! What interested me the most about the program is the teaching faculty and people are passionate, welcoming and genuinely care about their residents, a feeling that is readily conveyed to us.
Something very unique about this program, is the breadth of psychotherapy that we are exposed to and able to engage in. Not only do we get ample teaching and time dedicated to learning the different techniques but we also get the autonomy and supervision to become more comfortable with it. The ultimate goal is to provide a well rounded and thoughtful approach to patient care/ treatment for our patients; to go beyond just the target symptoms and getting to know the individual as a whole and UCSF Fresno has been the ultimate support!
