Why did you choose OBGYN?

I have always been passionate about promoting women’s health and increasing medical access to underserved populations. OBGYN combines all the parts of medicine that I love: surgery, emergency care and primary care, so I can create long-term relationships with my patients.

Why do OBGYN at UCSF Fresno?

During my brief time here as a medical student, I was impressed by the high volume and acuity of patients that are cared for by the residents. I knew that this was the place that would train me to handle any high risk OBGYN care that comes my way. Also the camaraderie amongst the residents showed me how supportive and welcoming the program is, which is exactly what I was looking for. I’m originally from the Central Valley, so being close to home is also a plus!

Hobbies/Facts/Interests

I’m originally from Merced, CA and went to medical school in North Carolina, so I am happy to be back home! In my free time I like to hang out with friends and drink wine or got get a good meal. I also like to garden, bake, hike and spend a lot of time playing fetch with my labradoodle Sullivan.
