Owen Goldsworthy, DO
Undergrad: UC Irvine
Medical School: Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine
Why This Program: The degree of inpatient training and the training center’s position as a major tertiary medical center for the communities between the Bay Area and Los Angeles was a major draw to me. I wanted to train at a program that facilities sent their patients to for higher level of care. And while you felt like a member of a major medical institution in a metropolitan city, you also could experience rural, underserved care in the Family Medicine programs Reedley and Parlier pathways. My sub-I was a really fun and rewarding month and I ended up making so many friends that I wanted to come here from the start of the application season.
Interests within Family Medicine: Dermatologic disorders and skin cancer screening, pediatrics, chronic illness management, especially hypertension and diabetes
