Hobbies, facts and interests
Yoga, backpacking, skiing, cooking Japanese and Italian, red wine with cats, scuba, photography. Travel highlights include diving with mantas in Komodo, solo trekking in Torres del Paine, dogsledding in the Andes, rafting in Shikoku, and sharing kava over rugby tournaments in Fiji. I built furniture and painted it yellow and green to express my love of the Oregon Ducks. My parents gave me dogs instead of siblings, and I look forward to having a small zoo of my own.
This program offers phenomenal training in a high volume ED. 4 years with these amazing patients will prepare us to practice medicine anywhere. This bunch of funny, interesting, and kind people are not only coworkers but friends and family. ParkMedic is a sweet ticket into wilderness medicine, medical education, and the Sierras. Plus there’s a slew of nonmedical perks: an extra month of vacation at the end of intern year, parking in the ambulance bay, a high dog to human ratio, and nonstop pool parties.
