Christopher Clark, MD

Dr. Clark is a father of three with a passion for pediatric primary care.  He has strong roots in the central valley, and was attracted to pediatrics because of the potential to help families through the health of children. As an older resident, he has varied experiences.  Born in New Jersey, he has lived all over the country.  He served in the US Navy from 93-97, and has been in California essentially since 1993.  He considers himself a Californian now.  He completed his BS in Cell and Molecular Biology from UC Merced in 2014, and his medical degree from UC Davis School of Medicine in 2018. Personal interests include music, reading, and technology.  He has a passion for symphony orchestra.  As a trombone player, he has been a member of several community orchestras over the years.  He also loves to read, and is a huge fan of classic science-fiction.  His technical curiosity extends to tinkering with technology and video editing. He is passionate about returning to Merced as a primary care outpatient pediatrician.  When working with the challenges patients and their families face, he always endeavors to, “step into their world rather than try to pull them into mine.”
