Why OBGYN?
OBGYN is, in my biased opinion, the best medical specialty out there. When I was first exposed to OBGYN in medical school, I realized I had no idea what an OBGYN does and absolutely fell in love with it. I love having the privilege of being a part of some of the most intimate and special moments of someone’s life. I love both surgery and clinic and OBGYN just combines the two for me. But most importantly, I discovered that I want to dedicate my time as a physician serving other women.
Why OBGYN at UCSF Fresno?
Although, I have bounced around countries throughout my life and am originally from Quebec, Canada, I really do consider myself a California girl. I discovered the central coast when I went to college at Cal Poly, SLO and absolutely fell in love with the area. Although I am not a Fresno native, life circumstances have brought me here and I have been very pleasantly surprised. I am very excited to discover more about Fresno and its surroundings and the wonderful people that make up this place.
Hobbies/Facts/Interest:
I have lived in multiple countries and as a result love to travel all over the globe and learn about different cultures and traditions. English was the third language that I learned how to speak and my first English word was cat. This has turned out to be very fitting as I have recently discovered that I am a cat lady! I love wine and beer tasting especially when cheese is involved. I am an ex-gymnast and an ex-triathlete that is now obsessed with barre-like fitness classes. Lastly, but most importantly, I am very passionate and excited about becoming the best OBGYN that I can be for all of my future patients!
