Why did you choose OBGYN?
I believe that patient education and an understanding of their body is a cornerstone of healthcare and the journey to patient wellness. During my medical school rotations, OB/GYN was the specialty that allowed me to gain the sense of fulfillment that patient education provides, while forming lifelong connections combining clinic and OR. Practicing as an OB/GYN also allows me to be a passionate advocate for reproductive rights and women’s health policy. Women deserve a compassionate and understanding provider and every day I strive to provide that level of care.

During medical school I commissioned as an Officer in the United States Navy and after graduation I completed a Transitional Year Internship at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. I was then selected as General Medical Officer for a United States Marine Corps Infantry Battalion out of Camp Pendleton. It was an experience I will never forget and I was fortunate to be able to deploy with some of the hardest working service men and women. After 3 years I decided to start my civilian career and I can’t wait to specialize in OB/GYN. As a new Fresno homeowner, I look forward to taking advantage of everything the city has to offer, as well as the nearby National Parks. During my free time I love to garden, cook, work on home improvement projects, as well as spend time with friends and famil
