Why did you choose OBGYN?

I chose OBGYN because of the opportunity for advocacy in women’s health. Education is power, and I hope to to empower my patients when making decisions about their health, particularly those women that are underserved and underrepresented.

Why do OBGYN at UCSF Fresno?

I did an away rotation at UCSF Fresno during my fourth year of medical school, and it was then that I truly knew it was the place for me. I loved the diversity in the community and faculty, and I knew the high volume and acuity would give me the well-rounded training I need. Also, my mother grew up in Fresno, and I have family in the area. Although I’m a southern girl from Tennessee, I am so excited to explore the Central Valley!

Hobbies/Facts/Interest

In my free time, I enjoy traveling. I look forward to exploring more of the west coast. When I’m not traveling, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, especially when it involves trying out new restaurants!
