Gregory L. Simpson, MD
Gregory L. Simpson, MD, is board certified in Dermatology.
He earned his medical degree from the University of Tennessee, completed a preliminary internal medicine year at Georgetown University, and finished his Dermatology residency at the Medical College of Georgia.
Dr. Simpson has been the Medical Director of Dermatology at UCSF Fresno since 2013. He has been working with UCSF Fresno Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, and Emergency Medicine residents since 2010 (in addition to medical students). His professional interests include complex medical dermatology, pediatric dermatology, bullous disorders, infectious disease, birthmarks, skin malignancies, and all ranges of inflammatory skin conditions.
Dr. Simpson has given lectures in San Francisco, Washington DC, Georgia, Yosemite, and multiple locations in the greater central valley within the last year. He has presented at local high schools raising awareness of skin cancer and melanoma, and helps to provide continuing medical education to many primary care physicians in Fresno. Dr. Simpson feels that he can help make a difference for multiple people that do not have access to dermatologic care.
He and his wife, a Fresno native, have three children and enjoy outdoor activities.
