Grace Carlson, BA
Grace Carlson was born and raised in the Central Valley and understands all too well the health disparities that plague the smaller surrounding communities, of Lindsay and Porterville. She is a first-generation Mexican American and the first to graduate with a bachelor’s degree in her family. Her University career started when she was hired as an Administrative Assistant for the AHEC (Area Health Education Center). She has been with the University for over 18 years and has thoroughly enjoyed growing personally and professionally through her experience. She sees her current role as SJV PRIME Manager as a personal goal to help the central valley bridge the gap between the patient and doctor relationship. She is blessed to be able to give back to her community and see positive change happen for future families in the valley.
