Cynthia Cortez

Cynthia focuses on facilitation all resident and faculty investigations, monitoring resident compliance with the research curriculum milestones and participating in any multi-disciplinary projects/grants. As the research associate, Cynthia focuses on facilitating all resident and faculty investigations. She works with the research clinical advisor to ensure residents are on track with their research requirements and assists both residents and faculty throughout the research process. Cynthia also organizes and participates in department and multi-disciplinary projects and grants. Prior to returning to her hometown of Fresno, she completed a bachelor’s degree in biology and health policy from Harvard University and earned a Health Professions Certificate from UC Berkeley Extension.
