Biostatiscal Support Unit

BIOSTATISTICAL RESEARCH UNIT
The UCSF Fresno Biostatistical Research Unit (BRU) is located in the Clinical Research Center (suite 319) at the UCSF Fresno Center for Medical Education and Research. The BRU is a joint effort between UCSF Fresno and the Psychology Department at Fresno State. The BRU provides the following services to UCSF Fresno faculty, fellows and residents:

 

  • Instruction in clinical research design and experimental methods
  • Instruction in data collection, quality control and database construction
  • Assistance with database management and coding of variables
  • Guidance in sample size and power calculation
  • Assistance with data analysis and instruction in use of statistical software
