Message from the Chief Residents
Hello and thank you for your interest in UCSF Fresno OB/GYN! We serve the Central Valley, a community with diverse patients and pathology. We train at Community Regional Medical Center, a hospital that delivers more than 5000 babies a year with 22 Labor/Delivery/Recovery rooms, 3 dedicated OR suites and a 10-bed triage unit. Our program not only fosters a well-rounded education, it encourages resident independence in and out of the clinical setting. We work well as coworkers and friends, setting the foundation for relationships that help us through the challenges of residency – see ‘resident wellness’ section. At the time of graduation, we are strongly prepared for whichever practice we choose to pursue including general practice and fellowship.
