Message from the Program Director

Welcome to UCSF Fresno, OB/GYN residency program webpage.

Our program is filled with diverse experiences, extensive opportunities and plenitude of pathology. Residents enter as interns, and quickly develop the skills and abilities needed to maneuver their way through the complex health care system and in 4 short years graduate with the tools necessary to succeed. Upon completing our program residents truly feel prepared to begin the next step of their career. Whether it be private practice, fellowship or academics, our residents know they are able to flourish in any environment they choose.

As the referral center for a 100 mile radius, we provide care to many underserved patients in both rural and city communities. Community Regional Medical Center strives to provide the support we need to care for our patients including a state of the art Emergency Department, Cyber knife, 84 bed level III NICU, 22 bed L & D with 3 dedicated ORs and dual console da Vinci Robot surgical system. We work closely with other departments to provide collaborative care for those in need.With assistance from a variety of departments, private and faculty providers as well as mid level providers, we provide the scaffold for residents to build their own success.

As the program director I am pleased with the success of our residents and truly understand that it takes a village to raise a resident.
