History

The UCSF Fresno Latino Center for Medical Education and Research (LaCMER) was established in 1996 by founding Director, Dr. Katherine A. Flores. Dr. Flores is a nationally recognized leader in health professional education. LaCMER operates a variety of programs that focus on pathway, outreach and pipelines to increase diversity in health professions within the San Joaquin Valley.
