UCSF Fresno recently graduated over 100 physicians to care for patients and teach the next generation. Jessica Mason, MD, a theater student turned emergency medicine doctor is among them. Dr. Mason completed a fellowship in emergency medicine education and is joining the faculty at UCSF Fresno. More than 100 physicians will graduate from the UCSF Fresno Medical Education Program this year. Graduation will be held Thursday, June 8, at the William Saroyan Theatre, 730 M Street, Fresno. The event will begin with a social hour at 5 p.m., followed by the graduation ceremony at 6 p.m.
David and Marilyn Britz of Fresno provided a $250,000 gift to UCSF Fresno to be used for research into the causes, prevention and treatment of lung diseases.
