RESIDENTS

Our residents say they are motivated because they have found a place where they can make a real difference for their patients. Most graduates enter private practice and remain involved in trauma and critical care. About 15 percent go on to become faculty members in teaching programs. About one-half of our residents do fellowships in plastic, cardio-thoracic, vascular, colorectal, pediatric, trauma and critical care. More than 40 percent of program graduates choose to remain in or return to the great Central San Joaquin Valley.
