HOUSESTAFF ORIENTATION AND REGISTRATION

Congratulations and welcome to UCSF Fresno!

This site has been developed to assist you in completing requirements to begin your training at UCSF Fresno.  Please follow instructions carefully.  The deadline for receipt of all completed forms and passage of training modules is May 1, 2009. 

Orientation:
A two day, paid orientation will be held for residents on Thursday, June 18, 2009 (7:30 am to 5:00 pm) & Friday, June 19, 2009 (7:30 am to 12:00 pm) in rooms 136 & 137.  All housestaff  will be released to their programs at noon on Friday.  Fellow Orientation will be held on Wednesday, July 1, 2009 at 8:30 am in room 118. 

Parking: 
All new housestaff may utilize fenced Parking Lot #10 during ACLS/Orientation. Parking Lot #10 is is located behind the UCSF Fresno Center on the corner of Illinois & Howard Street. Click here for map. 

ACLS: 
We will offer an ACLS class on June 16-17 for those not already certified. In order to register for the class you must already have Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.  Registration and information is provided on the next page. Information regarding PALS will be mailed to Pediatric residents directly from the program office.

Contracts:  
Your contract will be mailed separately once your file has been processed. We anticipate mailing of contracts will occur during the week of April 6.

IMPORTANT:  Please keep me informed of any email or address changes. Additional information will be sent to your address of record. It will be vital to keep in touch with you between now and orientation.
