RESOURCES TO HELP FAMILIES AND CHILDREN

THE 2007 UPDATE IS HERE! Many of you have used the “Resource Guide” which was developed by the UCSF Fresno Pediatric Residency Training Program. It is a handy reference for doctors, social workers and other clinicians who help children and families in the Fresno area. It includes the “most common” referral sources needed by our patients and other children and families we serve.

Click HERE to download the Resource Guide.

We have also included patient handouts that correspond to selected guide entries:

In the spirit of working together to serve Fresno’s children, we hope you find this to be a useful tool in your practice.

The “Provider Resource Guide For Children and Families” and the Patient Handouts has been produced in partnership with First 5 Fresno County and the UCSF Fresno Medical Education Program and Community Medical Centers. We are indebted to the help and information provided by Fresno Metro Ministry and their partners (http://www.fresnometroministry.org/fmm/publications.html) who publish the “Making Connections” directory from which much of the information we include originates.
