Robert Julian III, DDS, MD, FACS Director of OMFS

Dr. Julian graduated from the University of Southern California School of Dentistry in 1988 and completed his oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at Washington Hospital Center in 1992. He graduated with a medical degree from University of Alabama and completed a fellowship in head and neck surgery in 1995.

 

Dr. Julian has worked in the private sector in Fresno, CA, as well as Portland, OR., and now serves as director of the OMFS program located at the Deran Koligian Ambulatory Care Center of Community Medical Centers. He is a diplomat of the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery.

 


Brian M. Woo, DDS, MD

Dr. Woo earned his doctor of dental surgery degree from the University of Southern California School of Dentistry and his medical degree from Oregon Health and Science University.  He also completed his residency training in general surgery and oral and maxillofacial surgery at Oregon Health and Science University.  After his residency he completed a fellowship in head and neck surgery and microvascular reconstruction at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in Shreveport.  In addition to head and neck surgery, he also received additional training in craniofacial surgery, cleft lip and palate, and facial cosmetics during his fellowship.  His areas of interest are head and neck cancer, head and neck reconstruction, orthognathic surgery, dental implants, and trauma.

Gerald Alexander, DDS

Dr. Alexander is a graduate of Baylor University. He completed his oral and maxillofacial surgery training at then Valley Medical Center in Fresno, CA, and is a diplomat of the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery.


He maintains a private practice in Fresno and enjoys working with orthognathic and TMJ patients.

 


Allan Malkasian, DDS

Board Certified:
Diplomate-American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery
Diplomate-National Dental Board of Anesthesiology

Dr. Malkasian graduated from the University of Illinois College of Dentistry in 1964 and completed his oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at Highland General Hospital in Oakland, CA in 1971.

Prior to serving as adjunct clinical professor of oral and maxillofacial surgery at Community Medical Centers' Deran Koligian Ambulatory Care Center, Dr. Malkasian was a member of the teaching staff at Highland General Hospital. He is an outpatient anesthesia examiner for the California Association of Maxillofacial Surgeries.

Dr. Malkasian has a special interest in facial trauma and TMJ surgery and has published a book on TMJ examination.
