RESEARCH AND COMMUNITY SERVICE

Research Projects are begun in the first year and continued through to the 4th year. During this process, the skills of a medical researcher are taught via independent work as well as small group sessions.

Community Service is highly encouraged and supported at UCSF Fresno. Past projects have included family planning, teen pregnancy, and early detection of breast cancer in the various communities of Central California.
