Calling All Future Doctors—Mark Your Calendar for the Doctor’s Academy Informational Meeting |

| On January 8, 2003, Sunnyside High School
will make applications available for the highly competitive Doctor’s Academy
Program. The Doctor’s Academy Program is a four-year high school preparatory
program geared for students interested in a career in the health services
professions.
The meeting will be held in Sunnyside High School’s theatre, located at 1019 S. Peach Avenue (corner of Peach and Kings Canyon) on Wednesday, January 8, at 6:30 pm. The informational meeting is open to all middle school students considering a career in the health services professions. Current Doctor's Academy students will be on hand to talk about their experiences. Tours of the campus will be available and parents are encouraged to attend. The Doctor's Academy Program is supported by the University of California, San Francisco, Fresno, (UCSF Fresno) Latino Center for Medical Education and Research.
