Valley Visions 2011 A Success!!
On May 21, at the beautiful Rancho Vista Del Rio located right on the San Joaquin River, UCSF Fresno hosted its third biennial Valley Visions fundraising event. Over 425 people attended and enjoyed a tasting area full of the valley's best wines, spirits and cuisine, as well as a gourmet dinner, live entertainment with dancing, and a silent and live auction. A special tribute was made to all UCSF Alumni, as they were honored and given special recognition. The evening was very successful and netted the program a profit of over $125,000! This event continues to provide a social atmosphere for raising funds for UCSF Fresno, as well as creating an enhanced awareness of the invaluable work UCSF Fresno does in the valley. Funds raised from the event will support the ever growing residency program. UCSF Fresno currently has about 285 residents; the most ever in the program! Special thanks to all the volunteers, many of which are our own employees…..we could not have done it without you!
