The Health Careers Opportunity Program (HCOP) at California State University Fresno provides student academic support in partnership with the University of California San Francisco Latino Center for Medical Education and Research. HCOP prepares students for entry into graduate programs and health professional schools and provides students the opportunity to explore areas of academic and career interest. Students are provided with summer program experiences, academic and career counseling services, peer mentoring, technical writing assistance, MCAT and other standardized test reviews, laboratory work opportunities, and research and internship opportunities. |
Student Eligibility
Students interested in the HCOP program must meet the following criteria:
- GPA of 3.0 or better
- From an economically
or educationally disadvantaged background
- An expressed interest
in a health or science related career
