We are currently accepting and reviewing new applications from ERAS until August 15, 2014 for Appointment Year 2015. We are participating in the Medical Specialties Matching Program (MSMP) of the NRMP.

Minimum Employment Requirements
To be eligible for an appointment contract for residency training with “The University of California” all current or expected trainees must possess one of the following for the duration of all anticipated years of training:

California Medical License-
The State of California requires housestaff who meet the following criteria to have a license in order to continue training:

Additional Information for Foreign Medical Graduates
You must be in possession of an ECFMG (Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates) certificate in order to complete residency training in the United States. Please visit the ECFMG website at www.ecfmg.org for additional information on how to obtain certification.
