Teaching Conferences

Our program comprises of a robust schedule paying identical importance to clinical training and educational conferences. Fellows are expected to present at the Case Management conference, Cath conferences, and Journal Club


Core curriculum series

In July of each academic year, first year fellows will be given core lectures by the faculty dealing with all aspects of cardiology. Fellowship attendance at all of these July conferences is mandatory.

  10. Sudden Cardiac Death
  11. Introduction to clinical pathology
  12. Cardiac tests (exercise, pharmacological, holter, CTA)
  13. Echocardiography
  14. Introduction to Nuclear Medicine
  15. Preoperative risk assessment
  16. Preventive Cardiology
  17. Cardiac Pharmacology
  18. Chronic Heart Failure
  19. Syncope Evaluation
  20. PAD
  21. Arrhythmia evaluation

Weekly Conferences

A comprehensive program of formal teaching is held throughout the academic year. Conferences will be held at CRMC. All conferences other than cardiology rounds will be held at 0730. A fellow’s attendance at 50% is considered a minimum standard.
