UCSF Fresno faculty have been involved in presenting lectures and teaching workshops on a local, national and international level.
The ultrasound curriculum includes nine lectures per year presented during weekly conference by Drs. Bengiamin, Chooljian, and Chinnock. These lectures cover the areas of Physics, EFAST, Aorta, Renal, BIliary, Pelvic, Vascular Access, DVT, Optic, Abscess, and Misc. Future fellows will participate and presenting these lectures.

Current departmental research includes thoracic ultrasound, ultrasound for small bowel obstruction, and ultrasound in the evaluation of ulna/radius fracture reduction.
